(UPDATE) SAFE refuge, political asylum and other legal remedies are still very much on the table for expelled Negros Oriental congressman Arnolfo Teves Jr., his lawyer said

Ferdinand Topacio said over the weekend this is contrary to the claims by government officials that they are just waiting for a Timorese court to decide on the request of the Philippines for the custody of Teves, who is the prime suspect in the killing of Negros Oriental governor Roel Degamo in March 2023.
