PNP: Day 1 of BSKE campaigns peaceful

THE Philippine National Police said that the first day of the 10-day campaign period for the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) was 'generally peaceful.'

'As per PNP monitoring, so far, [the start of campaign was] relatively peaceful, even in areas under election concern,' PNP Public Information Office chief Col. Jean Fajardo said.
