THE Philippine National Police said that the first day of the 10-day campaign period for the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) was "generally peaceful."
"As per PNP monitoring, so far, [the start of campaign was] relatively peaceful, even in areas under election concern," PNP Public Information Office chief Col. Jean Fajardo said.
