THE Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers (PSABE) said the signing of the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 10915, or the 'Philippine Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Act of 2016,' will help avert a food crisis or shortage in the Philippines.

PSABE President Andie Tuates in a statement on Wednesday said that RA 10915, once fully implemented, will lead to the full mobilization of agricultural and biosystems engineers (ABEs) nationwide, which will result in the application of the latest technologies in farming, fishery and food sector.
