QC taps P100-M 'savings' for Covid-19 response

THE Quezon City government used some P100-million 'savings' from abandoned or neglected infrastructure projects under the administration of former mayor Herbert 'Bistek' Bautista in its Covid-19 response, reelected Mayor Maria Josefina 'Joy'' Belmonte said.

She told The Manila Times that she used the funds saved from those projects for its Covid-19 response, particularly in giving cash assistance to 'QCitizens' at the height of the pandemic.
