Duterte calls for proper waste disposal

President Rodrigo Duterte has called for proper waste disposal as he expressed concern over the rise in medical and plastic waste production in the country since the Covid-19 pandemic started.

'A serious concern is the proper disposal of medical waste. There have been several reports of poor disposal,' Duterte said in his public address on Monday.
