President Rodrigo Duterte has called for proper waste disposal as he expressed concern over the rise in medical and plastic waste production in the country since the Covid-19 pandemic started.
"A serious concern is the proper disposal of medical waste. There have been several reports of poor disposal," Duterte said in his public address on Monday.
