THE DEATH toll due to flash floods and landslides brought by Tropical Depression “Usman” rose further to 85, while 16 other people remained missing, disaster officials said in an update on Tuesday night.
Based on a 7 p.m. report by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) in Bicol, the region alone accounted for 69 fatalities, mostly from landslides and drowning.
