SIGNAL no. 1 remains up over parts of central Philippines as tropical depression “Usman” continues to move towards Eastern Visayas, where it is expected to make landfall later today, Friday, the state-run weather bureau said.
"Usman" may intensify into a tropical storm before it hits Eastern Samar on Friday evening, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
