THE implementation of the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act will mean an increase in monthly contributions for public and private sector employees to the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth), a spokesman for the government-owned-and-controlled corp. said on Monday.
Shirley Domingo said under the new law, higher contributions would be imposed on employees with a monthly salary of P50,000 and above starting in July from the previous P40,000.
