THE trough of the new low pressure area off Surigao Del Sur will bring rain to parts of southern Luzon, Visayas, and eastern Mindanao, the state-run weather bureau said on Friday.According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the new weather disturbance was last seen 900 kilometers (km) east of Hintuan, Surigao Del Sur.Cloudy skies with light rains are expected over the provinces of Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast to east will prevail over Northern Luzon and in Aurora Province.Meanwhile, the rest of Metro Manila will have generally-fair weather.
