WITH the court’s permission, Senator Antonio Trillanes 4th left the country on December 11 for a month-long travel abroad for various speaking engagements, his counsel said on Friday.

Lawyer Reynaldo Robles made the remark in response to a claim by Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra that Trillanes did not inform the courts about his plans to travel before he left the country.
