In a short span of time, Kidlikasan has achieved amazing feats such as: 1) reached almost 60 percent of the schools in Region 12 (Soccsksargen) for instilling environmental values, skills and attitudes through lecture and team building activities; 2) assisted three schools to implement a “No Plastic Policy”; 3) was instrumental in its campaign for a plastic-free lifestyle by promoting the use of water tumblers and refuse the use of plastic straws; 4) forged partnerships with LGUs in Region 12; and 5) stopped the release of balloons during the Tinalak Festival and General Santos Golden Anniversary.
