The high corporate tax rate in the Philippines is turning off foreign investors, but a study by Fitch Solutions revealed tax reforms can give a lift, particularly on medical devices investments.
In a report released on Wednesday, Fitch Solutions noted that the country has the second highest corporate tax rate in the East and Southeast Asia and such is hindering foreign investors to put their money into the Philippines.
