SFA Semicon Philippines Corp. posted 30 percent lower net profit in the first six months of the year to $321,000 from the $459,000 in the same period last year due to higher cost of goods sold. It said cost of goods sold rose 2 percent to $98.70 million from $96.78 million previously due to the marked shift in the company’s product mix. However, revenues increased 2 percent to $101.73 million, driven by a 3-percent increase in production volumes of memory products. Shares of SFA were up 5 centavos at P1.75 each.
