TROPICAL storm “Soulik” outside Philippine territory has intensified into a severe tropical storm, although rains in tge country will continue because of the southwest monsoon or “habagat” the state-run weather bureau said on Friday.
As of 7 a.m., Soulik was located 2,060 kilometers (km) east of extreme Northern Luzon with winds of 90 kilometers per hour (kph) and gusts of 115 kph.
