WORK at the Senate resumed on Wednesday after an inspection team from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) declared its building safe following an earthquake that struck parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, early this week.
"[The] Senate building is safe. All employees are allowed to work tomorrow [April 24]. FYI. There will be work at the Senate tomorrow [April 24],” Senate Pro Tempore Ralph Recto, currently officer-in-charge while Senate President Vicente Sotto 3rd is out of the country, said in a text message.
