Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio might have a good chance in the next elections for president if her father, President Rodrigo Duterte, managed to maintain a high level of popularity until 2022, an analyst said on Saturday.

Antonio “Butch” Valdes, head of the Save the Nation Movement, said the President’s popularity was expected to affect the people’s vote in the next elections.
