The Cavite provincial government remains optimistic of securing approval for the proposed Sangley Point International Airport (SPIA) project, targeting the submission of a new draft agreement “very soon” after the Transportation department flagged a number of issues.
The resubmission, Cavite Governor Jesus Crispin Remulla told The Manila Times, is “part of the process” as he rejected reports that the P552-billion project had been thumbed down.
