A group of recruiters backed the proposal to create a Department of Overseas Filipino Workers (DOFW) that would look after the welfare and well-being of Filipinos working abroad.
The Alliance of Bonafide Recruiters for OFWs’ Advancement and Development (Abroad), a coalition composed of recruitment agency associations, said it welcomes efforts of government “to improve and streamline the services and processes involved in the deployment of OFWs.”
