ZAMBOANGA CITY – A homemade bomb exploded at the house of a village official in Zamboanga City in the southern Philippines, but there were no reports of casualties, police said on Wednesday.
Police said the blast damaged the porch of the house of Henry Gregorio, a village councilor in Tagasilay. The bomb exploded at around 2:50 a.m. of Tuesday, according to Chief Insp. Helen Galvez, a regional police spokeswoman.
