THE Philippines continues to enjoy fiscal stability despite the wider-than-programmed budget deficit by the national government last year, Moody’s Investors Service said.
In a report released late on Wednesday, the credit ratings agency took note of the national government's full-year fiscal performance for 2018, showing the budget deficit widening to 3.3 percent of gross domestic product from 2.2 percent in 2017.
