SEN. Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan resigned as president of the Liberal Party (LP) for his apparent failure to help the Otso Diretso senatorial slate win in the May 13 midterm elections.
The senator handed his letter of resignation to Vice President Leni Robredo, chairman of the LP.
