THE Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) will investigate the P1.3 billion bidding conducted by the Bureau of Customs (BoC) for the supply of various state-of-the-art x-ray machines for alleged serious irregularities and blatant disregard of rules and regulations on public bidding.
The complaint was recently filed before the anti-graft body by the "Corporation," which is composed of five firms and joint ventures that participated in the x-ray project bidding at the BoC last July 31, 2018. Four were identified as Facilities Protection Inc., Casedist Inc., Defense and Protection Systems Phils., Inc., and Cyclix Technologies Inc.
