FOURTEEN electric cooperatives in the Philippines have minimal to no power supply following the onslaught of Typhoon Ompong (international name: Mangkhut), the National Electrification Administration (NEA) said on Monday.
The affected power co-ops include Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative, Inc.; Isabela I Electric Cooperative, Inc.; La Union Electric Cooperative, Inc.; Cagayan 1 Electric Cooperative, Inc.; Cagayan II Electric Cooperative, Inc.; Isabela I Electric Cooperative, Inc.; Isabela I Electric Cooperative, Inc.; Nueva Vizcaya Electric Cooperative, Inc; Benguet Electric Cooperative, Inc.; Mountain Province Electric Cooperative, Inc.; Abra Electric Cooperative, Inc.; Kalinga Apayao Electric Cooperative, Inc.; Ifugao Electric Cooperative, Inc.; and Aurora Electric Cooperative, Inc.
