THE number of poor Filipinos decreased in the first semester of 2018 compared to the same period in 2015, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Wednesday.
In a briefing, PSA said the poverty incidence among Filipino individuals in the first semester of 2018 was estimated at 21.0 percent, down from the 27.6 percent recorded in the first semester of 2015.
