UNTIL the campaign period starts in February, everything is fair game insofar as premature campaigning is concerned, according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec), a spokesman for the poll body said on Wednesday.
Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez issued the clarification on Wednesday, saying that even if a candidate would print the words “vote for” in his or her posters or tarpaulins and even on television and radio paid advertisements, “it is not a violation.”
