THE National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) is undertaking the P17.9-billion Western Luzon backbone project that will help improve the reliability of power supply in the Luzon grid.
In a statement on Monday, the grid operator said it was working on a new transmission corridor through its Western Luzon 500-kiloVolt (kV) backbone project.
