A MAN was arrested after running amuck and holding a boy hostage at gunpoint for almost two hours this morning near the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) in Sta. Mesa, Manila, according to local police authorities.
The man, who identified himself as Dominador Abrinno, 38, from Taguig City, cited personal problems, including the death of his overseas Filipino worker (OFW) brother who was killed during a police operation in Clark, Pampanga as his reason for holding the boy, 5, hostage.
