A new low pressure (LPA) area has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Monday, the state-run weather bureau said.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) last spotted the LPA at 770 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.
