After a long and tight battle for the NASFOR 4x4 Championship, Aurora Racing Team’s Jherico Lara was named 2018 Driver of the Year at the Philippine Tough Truck Challenge (PTTC) XVIII staged in Bukidnon on December 9.
The title was only decided when championship leader JR Bartolome of the Land Cruiser Club of the Philippines failed to finish Track A of the very technical and demanding track in Libona, Bukidnon. Lara was only 12 points away from Bartolome going into the last leg.
