THE Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) has warned Filipino workers on illegal recruitment and against fly-by-night Nihongo language schools, following approval by the Japanese parliament of an immigration law that will ease the entry of foreign worker into Japan’s labor force.

Labor Undersecretary Jacinto Paras, cluster head in-charge for the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), said on Sunday that he was closely coordinating with the heads of the two attached agencies of the DoLE for the crafting of the guidelines in relation to the requirement for the deployment of foreign workers to Japan.
