ILAGAN CITY, Isabela: The Bambanti Festival earned another victory, landing in the Guinness World Records (GWR) with 2,495 street dancers dressed as scarecrows performing non-stop for two hours.
“Bambanti” is the Iloco term for scarecrow used by farmers to protect their rice fields from birds that pluck maturing rice grains.
