THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) started to rebuild and strengthen one of 36 bridges in Metro Manila that was identified as old and weak and to make it safe and resilient, especially against earthquakes.
DPWH National Capital Region Director Melvin Navarro said on Friday that the two lanes of the four-lane Tripa de Gallina Bridge along Gil Puyat Ave. in Pasay City would be temporarily closed, advising motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
