THE wreckage of a trainer aircraft that was reported missing after takeoff at the San Jose Airport last Friday has been found as the wife of its pilot asked for prayers for his rescue.

Eric Apolonio, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) spokesman, said on Monday that the search and rescue team spotted six small and big pieces of debris from the Beechcraft Baron 55 (BE55) and a bag with the name of the pilot-in-command, Capt. Jose Nelson Yapparcon, at 12:06 p.m. in Mindoro Strait.
