Sen. Leila de Lima has expressed support to a bill that aims to reorganize the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and increase the salary of its 5,000 employees.
The senator said Senate Bill (SB) 2082 can prevent demoralization among the Comelec employees as they “handle myriad challenges in ensuring honest, orderly and peaceful polls.”
