LEVELS of fecal coliform bacteria have gone down in parts of Manila Bay, following a series of clean-up activities and a crackdown on establishments found to be violating environmental laws, an official of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) said on Friday.
In an interview, DENR Undersecretary Benny Antiporda told The Manila Times that water in Manila Bay was now cleaner, particularly along the US Embassy and nearby areas along Roxas Boulevard.
