Cloud seeding will be conducted this weekend starting in Cauayan, Isabela, to cushion the impact of drought caused by the El Niño phenomenon, the Philippine Air Force announced on Thursday.
The announcement came amid the dry spell ushered in by the weather phenomenon, resulting in water shortage in several major cities, including those in Metro Manila.
