THE Canadian government tapped a local firm to ship back to Ottawa the garbage in 103 container vans that were exported to the Philippines from 2013 to 2014.

Minister Catherine McKenna of the Environment and Climate Change on May 22 announced that a contract was awarded to Bolloré Logistics Canada "to safely bring the waste back to Canada as soon as possible."
