THE water level in Angat dam, the main source for Metro Manila, has breached its critical low on Sunday, although the drop was not expected to affect water supply, state agencies said.
As of 6 a.m. on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) recorded Angat’s reservoir at 179.97 meters, slightly below the 180 critical low level mark set by the dam operators.
