The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Sunday committed to intensify its offensives against the Abu Sayyaf Group over the death of Dutch hostage Ewold Horn in the hands of the terrorists.
Col. Gerry Besana, spokesman for the military’s Western Mindanao Command (WestMinCom), said because there were no other hostages being held by the Abu Sayyaf, it would be easy for them to go “all-out” in their fight against the bandit group.
