The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will lower its 2019 growth outlook for the Philippines given a global slowdown and last year’s below-target result.

“We expect the economy to continue its strong expansion in 2019 but lower than our earlier projection of 6.7 percent for 2019,” ADB Philippines Country Manager Kelly Bird said during The Manila Times 9th Business Forum on Wednesday at the Dusit Thani hotel in Makati City.
