60 persons were arrested in Makati City over the weekend for allegedly buying and selling votes, police said.
In a report to Police Maj. Gen Guillermo Eleazar, the suspects were identified as Karen May Matibag, a barangay (village) treasurer of San Isidro village; Medlyn Joy Ong, village secretary; Marie Antoinette Capistrano, village administrator; Wenifredo Ong; Mario Louis Siriban; Adrian Chiapoco; John Brian Matibag; and Ma. Liberty Dacullo.
