(UPDATE) THE Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday created two specialized committees to address kidnappings and disinformation.

PNP chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil identified the two committees — the Joint Anti-Kidnapping Action Committee (Jakac) and the Joint Anti-fake News Action Committee (Jafnac).
