BAGUIO CITY — A congressional candidate in Bohol's first district has taken his concerns to the Supreme Court, urging the high court to compel the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to implement rules on the reassignment of local election officers.

He argued that extended postings could compromise the neutrality of election officials and their long tenures may foster undue familiarity with local political figures.
