MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) warned the public on Thursday against road accidents, heat-related illnesses, and food-borne diseases during the Holy Week.

It also advised people to bring and drink plenty of water, wear hats or use umbrellas, and dress in cool, light-colored clothing as the temperature increases.
