THE country's antitrust agency has raised the mandatory notification thresholds for merger and acquisition (M&A) deals following an annual review.
M&A plans where the size of party (SOP) or size of transaction (SOT) reaches P8.5 billion or P3.5 billion, respectively, will have to be reported and approved by the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC).
