THE National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) commended the decision of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to issue a show cause order against a Nueva Ecija gubernatorial candidate for making fun of a cancer-stricken opponent in public.
In his campaign remarks on April 3, Virgilio Bote was quoted saying that Isidro Tino Pajarillaga, the incumbent mayor of General Tinio town, is dying of stage 5 kidney cancer.
