AUTOMOTIVE sales picked up in March, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (Campi) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) reported on Monday, but a slump in purchases of passenger cars worsened.
Automakers sold a total of 40,306 units for the month, up 7.6 percent year on year and improving from February's 2.9-percent expansion.
