ILOILO CITY — An operation involving a serving of warrant of arrest on Western Visayas' No. 8 most wanted person turned into a tense armed encounter on Saturday afternoon, April 12, after law enforcers were met with gunfire by unidentified assailants in Barangay Jawod, San Joaquin, Iloilo.
The target fugitive, identified as Jelly Lagunday Solinap, 57, from Maasin, Iloilo, is wanted for murder and illegal possession of firearms.
